Vision Board: Sirens at Sunset

As a Pisces, I am mainly inspired by the sea. The colors, the sound, but most of all, the creatures; the siren in particular. Though a siren may or may not actually be real, they are the most beautiful creatures in the sea. These half-woman, half-fish creatures are defined as "beautiful but dangerous creatures that lured the sailors with their beautiful voices to their doom," (according to greekmythology.com).

This stunning photograph gave me the inspiration for a color palette that I am calling "Sirens at Sunset." This palette would be beautiful for a beach wedding.

The range of colors in the bouquet directly reflects the photograph above. The pinks of the sky, the blues of the ocean, and the purple/green of the tail.

The sea of blues (pun intended) is great for a larger bridal party. Having multiple shades of the same color breaks up the monotony of the dresses. Certain shades may look better on different skin tones, so having the option to choose is great. Letting each girl choose their dress style is a unique way to showcase each of their personal styles.

Most importantly: the bride. This dress accentuates the curves of a womans body with its mermaid silhouette. The stunning detail of the beads and slit create a one-of-a-kind wedding gown.

What good is a mermaid bride without her man to carry down the aisle?
